Braydon tested for his yellow belt this past week. They told us if we get a call on Monday that means you didn't pass and you would need to come back in to retest. I know he passed because he practices on his poor sisters everyday.
He cracks me up. He doesn't get nervous when it comes to getting up in front of people, guess that's why he can model and give good book reports. I was painfully shy as a kids and would have rather died then to speak in front of a group.
I'm very proud of him for doing so well.
After testing we went to the mongolian grill for dinner, YUMMM!! I forget about that place...Why do we not eat there more?
Thursday night is the belt ceremony where they get presented with their new belt. He can hardly wait.
I think this entire month will be a blur. End of school carnival, field days for Ellie and Braydon (on different days), Lila's preschool graduation, Braydon has a field trip picnic for all the 4th graders down by a river. (4th grade boys by the river, yeah right) Braydon goes to camp for 5 days (UGH!! my baby is going to camp) I really had to write all this down so I wouldn't forget anyone.
I will leave you with pictures of the yellow belt master.
PS. If you look all the way to the right of the picture there is a little boy with black hair. He is a red/black belt instructor. Instructor! he can't be any older then 6 or 7 years old. He was doing some of the testing.
