Pumpkin patch

It's that time of year again to visit our favorite pumpkin patch. The weather was great. I don't think we have ever been to the pumpkin patch when it wasn't raining or cold.

Sometime I forget Lila has never done some of these things. As we pulled into the pumpkin patch she looked out the window with big eyes taking it all in, as so was I.

When did the pumpkin patch become almost fair-like? The kids running all over, the petting zoo, the mini golf, hot cider & hot dogs, hay maze, hay rides, corn maze....The list goes on. Not only are there more attractions then a county fair, but everything costs $$$. $5.00 per kid to run through the hay maze. $5 bucks?? And the line was a mile long. A day at the pumpkin patch could set you back a good $100.00, WoW!!

We totally enjoyed looking at the animals, and picking out our pumpkins. The kids didn't seem to interested in the other things. Lila was so amazed at all the pumpkins, I don't think she cared about the rest.

Lila walked around the pumpkins patting them all, rolling them over and trying to pick them up. She picked out a good one, with the help of her brother. We came home with 4 very nice pumpkins, and had a great time, minus all the hoopla.
