Is May really over? It seems like this month has screamed by and I missed it. We have been so busy with camping, cars, working in the yard, school functions and keeping up on everything else that this month just whizzed by with just a blink.

Braydon only has a few weeks of school left and then what? UGH, the dreaded summer vacation. I have trying to think of activities that will keep us busy. Then I got to thinking if we were busy with May and it flew by, and we were only doing everyday stuff...Then summer should just fly by.Am I right? Huh? Please tell me that I'm right. I'm not sure if I can take too much of the "I'm bored, I have nothing to do, What are we doing today?" You would think I was his events coordinator. I'M NOT!!

What happened to the days of getting up in the morning, gagging down some Luck Charms and being gone all day climbing trees, hunting frogs, playing army(with bb guns), and all of the other things that I had to invent to do when I was a kid?
If I even breathed the word bored, my dad had me doing some hideous job I didn't want to do. All of the sudden I was unbored and back to building forts and riding bikes.

I try to force him to go and play, well next thing you know all of the kids are here chanting they are bored and hungry...Now I'm the event coordinator and buffet.

Don't get me wrong I do like having the kids play here, at least I know where they are and what they are doing. A few juice boxes and some cookies is a small price to pay for the comfort of knowing that they are safe and not killing each other un supervised at someone else's house.

So I'm marking the calendar and mentally preparing for SUMMER VACATION. Hummm, I wonder if he's to young to go to work with his dad........
